Today, Norwegian Cruise Line has 12 purpose-built Freestyle Cruising ships, providing the guests the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed cruise holiday on some of the newest and most contemporary ships at sea. The company has two 4.000-passenger vessels, Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway, under construction for delivery in January 2014, along with one larger “Breakaway Plus” vessel for delivery in autumn 2015.

Aboard the Freestyle Cruising fleet, you can choose from a wide range of stateroom categories to suite every taste and budget. Available stateroom categories include for example well-appointed inside staterooms for price-conscious customers, ocean view staterooms, staterooms with private balcony as well as a large and luxurious suite complex on the Jewel-Class ships as well as aboard Norwegian Epic and the Breakaway-Class. This includes the unique Courtyard Villas which have access to a private Courtyard, swimming pool and sun deck as well as two Garden Villas, featuring three separate bedrooms, bathrooms and a living room. Both offer butler and concierge service.

Dining
Norwegian Cruise Line’s unique style gives you the option to choose when, where, with whom and how you will eat.

Freestyle Cruising® is characterized in particular by having no fixed dining times, no formal dress codes, a great variety of lounges, bars, theatres as well as other entertainment and activity options. On board the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet, you find up to 27 different dining options without set dining times and opening hours from 17:30 to midnight (order until 22:30).

Thus, you can choose when, where and with whom to dine. In fact, if you prefer, you can dine in a different restaurant each night of your cruise. Should you, however, prefer to dine at the same table and/or at the same time every evening, respective reservations may be arranged on board. Norwegian Cruise Line’s new ships feature a restaurant seating guide, displayed on flat-screen televisions placed in key areas on the ship. They show each restaurant’s current occupancy status as well as possible waiting times. If a restaurant is fully occupied at a certain time and you would like to wait for an opening, you will get a pager that works all over the ship and will be informed as soon as the table is available. For those who like to dress up a little bit, there is one designated restaurant with a more elegant ambiance available on every ship.

Activities
You won’t get bored on an Norwegian Cruise Line due to the numerous indoor or outdoor activities as well as entertainment offered all day and night long. 

Together with extensive sport and wellness facilities, Norwegian Cruise Line also offers a varied entertainment program. Components include everything from computer and cooking classes to yoga and shore excursions with mountain biking or horseback riding.

All Norwegian Cruise Line ships have a very ample wellness area, the Mandara Spa®, and a beauty salon with hairdresser. In the spa your will be pampered from head to toe. The wellness area features Finnish saunas, steam rooms, a Thalassotherapy pool, hot tub and heated relaxation chairs. Mandara Spa®, one of the world's leading provider of exclusive spa resorts and our partner aboard, offers treatments based on traditional Asian methods. If you want to stay in contact with those at home, Norwegian Cruise Line pioneered with the industry’s first internet access on the high seas in 1999 which now is a fleet wide standard. Norwegian Cruise Line was also the first cruise line to provide remote wireless Internet access (Wi-Fi) to its guests and in 2006, became the first cruise line to offer cell phone service fleet wide.
